Armed Robbery Investigation

Greenwich, Conn. (WTNH) – Police are looking for the person that held up an ATM service engineer on Wednesday.  It happened shortly after midnight on Wednesday night at an ATM at Chase Bank over on West Putnam Avenue and Dearfield Drive.

The technician had the cabinet open when suddenly a suspect appeared from behind the service technician’s work van with a gun. The victim ran away and called police. When officers arrived, the suspect was gone and so was some cash.

The Greenwich Police Department Detective Division believe that the suspect was lying wait for the victim and if any if anyone has any information regarding this incident please contact the department.
