Arrest made in West Haven stolen equipment case

WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Police have arrested a Stratford man for allegedly stealing nearly $7,500 worth of equipment from the city of West Haven.

Investigators say 24-year-old John Fabrizi stole power equipment from an open area storage garage. Fabrizi worked for a landscaping company that shared that storage garage with the city of West Haven Public Works.

The reported stolen property was then pawned at various pawn shops in the area.

Fabrizi is charged with third degree larceny. No word on when he will appear in court.
