Meriden man arrested, drugs found during traffic stop in Milford

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A traffic stop in Milford turns up heroin and cocaine, police say, leading to the arrest of a Meriden man.

According to authorities, 27-year-old Corey Williams was pulled over for a motor vehicle violation on Schoolhouse Road near Bridgeport Avenue on Friday evening. They say the officer found heroin, cocaine, and $5,000 cash in Williams’s car.

The Center Street man is charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 3.
