Crowning the best Connecticut beer through blind taste test

NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — The Blind Rhino will be crowning the winner of the best beer brewed in Connecticut at the first ever Blind Beer Awards.

Organizers say this beer tasting event eliminates bias and allows local beer connoisseurs to vote for what they like best based solely on the beer. 12 breweries will compete for the title.

The host, Ken Tuccio and the Blind Rhino’s owner, Matt Bacco stopped by Good Morning CT to talk about the event and the many breweries cropping up across the state.

If you want to check it out it is Saturday, April 23rd at 1pm at The Blind Rhino in Norwalk. Tickets for this event are $25 and it includes entry to the event and samples of the beer being served. The tickets also include an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet, starting at 4pm.
