Police searching for 2 men who held student at gunpoint


HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Police are looking for two suspects accused of holding a University of Hartford student at gunpoint.

Police received a call around 4 a.m. Saturday about an assault involving a firearm on the school’s campus.

The victim told police he was in his dorm room with his girlfriend when two men knocked on the door. The men pushed their way inside when he opened the door.

The victim told police the men held him at gunpoint and demanded to know where the marijuana was. He said the men punched him in the face when he denied having any.

Police haven’t made any arrests. They say there’s no imminent danger to the public.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the authorities.
