National Superhero Day at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Superheroes come in all shapes and sizes and today, the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center gave many kids the chance to meet their favorite superheroes.

Today is National Superhero Day. It is celebrated at hospitals all over the country. Spiderman, Batman, Superman, and tons of others showed up at CCMC in Hartford today to bring smiles to the children there.

“Us as a pediatric hospital, really want to honor our children, they are superheroes every single day,” said Shannon Grad, CCMC.

Today’s Superhero Day was the third annual event of its kind at CCMC.
