GREENWICH, Conn. (WTNH) — Investigators say they have found the vehicle used in a hit-and-run that killed a Greenwich man almost two weeks ago.
Greenwich police say a driver in a Mercedes M Class hit a 43-year-old local man around 11 o’clock at night on Sunday, April 17th. It happened on East Putnam Avenue near Hillside Road. The victim’s name has not yet been released.
Police say they are working directly with the State’s Attorney office in Stamford and expect to apply for an arrest warrant soon.
The accident is still under investigation.
