‘Green Light Project’ in New Haven could bring illuminating pillar to green

(WTNH)–Have you heard of the ‘Green Light Project’ in New Haven? A group is hoping that it will come to fruition this fall, and they’re working with the city to sign off on the 15-foot tall obelisk that will illuminate like a lighthouse on the New Haven Green.

It’s all about community, and it will house a time capsule that will be opened when New Haven turns 500 years old. That will be in 122 years. It’s the brainchild of Chris Stedman, who is tonight’s guest on “Nyberg.”

Check out the video above for much more.
