Robin Roberts to speak at Southern Connecticut State University

New Haven, Conn. (WTNH)- Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts will speak to what is expected to be a sold out crowd at the the Lyman Center on the campus of Southern Connecticut State University tonight.

Roberts is one of television journalism’s brightest stars. She is a past winner of the Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism, recipient of four Emmy Awards and was voted in a Reader’s Digest poll the ‘Most Trusted Person on Television’ in 2013. Her courageous battle against the disease of the blood and bone marrow Myelodysplastic Syndrome helped inspire hundreds of potential bone marrow donors to register.

Roberts will speak at seven o’clock tonight. Good Morning Connecticut co-anchors Laura Hutchinson and Keith Kountz will introduce Ms. Roberts.
