Water cleaning project to begin in Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. (WTNH) – Some Aquarion Water Company customers may notice a drop in water pressure or some discoloration in their water over the next several weeks.

Aquarion Water Company will conduct a water main cleaning project in Greenwich from Monday, May 9, through Friday, June 3, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The company tells News 8 the project should last about four weeks.

Aquarion recommends you store water in your refrigerator for drinking and cooking. It also asks you not to do laundry if the water is discolored.

According to the company, you should also run your cold water faucets until the water appears clear.
