Junior Achievement programs in CT get donation

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)  –  First Niagara Financial Group has announced it has given $12,500 to support Junior Achievement  events at elementary schools in New Haven, Hartford and Norwalk.

The donation from the First Niagara Foundation will benefit “JA in a day” program where volunteers from First Niagara will teach elementary school students lessons in financial literacy, entrepreneurism that focus on the modern local workforce.

The programs will take place at Quinnipiac Stem School in New Haven on June 10th, Parkville Elementary School in Hartford on May 26 and Jefferson Elementary School in Norwalk on June 8th.
