Winning Mega Millions Ticket Remains Unclaimed In New London County

ROCKY HILL, Conn. (WTNH) — A winning Mega Millions lottery ticket remains unclaimed in New London County after a major drawing on Tuesday.

The Connecticut Lottery says that a ticket sold for the May 17th Mega Millions drawing was a $1,000,000 prize winner, but no one has come forward to claim the prize. CT Lottery officials say the ticket was sold in New London county and the winning numbers were 17-24-27-48-75 and Mega Ball 6, with a Megaplier of 3. Of the 18,163 winning tickets sold in Connecticut for that date, only one contained a five number match for the $1,000,000 prize.

The CT Lottery notes that all draw game tickets expire 180 calendar days from the draw date and encourages players to check all of their tickets carefully. Tickets can be checked online at, by scanning in a lottery Ticket Checker, or at any lottery retailer location.
