‘Musical Intervention’ Making a Difference in the Lives of the Homeless

(WTNH)–Adam Christoferson, an only child who grew up in East Haven, is making a difference in the lives of the homeless through the power of music. He has founded ‘Musical Intervention,’ which is based in New Haven. It’s giving those without a home a place to express themselves by singing, writing and performing songs.

Christoferson knows what it’s like having it tough. His mother suffered from mental health issues, and his dad, a Vietnam vet, suffered from post traumatic stress disorder. He eventually ended up in Foster care. Now, it’s Christoferson’s life’s mission to help others. He understands what it’s like when people give up on you.
