Clinton police need help catching purse thieves

CLINTON, Conn. (WTNH) – The Clinton Police department is asking for help to track down two women who swiped a bunch of purses from the Clinton Crossing Outlet Mall.

Police say it happened around 4:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. Surveillance cameras got pictures of the women, who police say made off with more than $1,800 worth of purses from the Dooney and Bourks store at the mall.
