Route One reopened in Stonington after man struck by car

STONINGTON, Conn. (WTNH)– Route One was closed in Stonington Wednesday after a man on a motorized wheelchair was struck by a car.

Police tell News 8 that the Raymond Lanphere was hit by a car while on Route One in the Pawcatuck area. The road was closed by Mayflower Avenue for the investigation.

The cause of the crash and the extent of the victim’s injuries are unknown.
