The Better Health Conference is Ready To Answer Your Healthcare Questions

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – If you’ve ever had questions about your healthcare, medication, healthcare coverage, you’re not alone. In fact, so many find themselves lost in these issues and get their questions answered at the Better Health Conference.

Connecticut is in full transformation mode recreating the way it delivers and pays for healthcare. It’s all about centering healthcare services on patients’ needs and preferences, while shifting toward enhancing the health of our communities and the state.  With this change, consumers have more options for health and healthcare but sometimes get lost in the options.

People should be empowered to ask questions and work with their healthcare team (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, insurers and brokers/consultants) to make choices that are best for them. The Better Health Conference helps people understand their options.

Understanding options and choices is the best way to get engaged and be empowered to take charge of your health and prevent illness, improve healthcare quality and make needed healthcare affordable and accessible.
