MADD honors East Haven officers

East Haven, Conn. (WTNH)- Mothers Against Drunk Driving is recognizing three members of the East Haven police department for going above and beyond the call to get drunk drivers off the road.

At a ceremony at Central Connecticut State University the organization honored officers Kershen Bissettte, Kevin McGuire and Luke Rasile for their dedication to public safety.

All of the officers recorded the highest number of impaired driver motor vehicle stops in the shoreline community. Overall, East Haven police officers took 94 intoxicated drivers off the road in 2015.
