NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — New Haven police have identified the woman whose body was pulled from the Quinnipiac River on Sunday.

Police say 19-year-old Adaijah Walker was pulled from the Quinnipiac River just before noon on Sunday. Police say Walker’s family had last seen her between 7 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and reported her missing Sunday morning.
New Haven police say Walker’s death is likely a suicide or an accidental drowning.
A final determination will be released by the Medical Examiner’s Office upon the completion of the autopsy.
