Norwich man arrested, charged after running from police

NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH) – A Norwich man has been arrested and charged after running from police.

Officers with the Norwich Police Department pulled over Duane Crawford, 27, of Norwich, following a reported road rage incident.

The driver then ran away from his vehicle.

During the pursuit, someone driving in the area offered a ride to one of the officers.

The driver dropped off the officer in front of the suspect.

The officers arrested Crawford.

He faces a number of charges and is scheduled to appear in court on June 16th.
