Westport bank robbery under investigation

Suspect photo #2WESTPORT, Conn. (WTNH)  –  Westport Police are looking for the person who held up a bank in their town today.

According to police they responded to a 911 call at approximately 11 a.m. from employees of the Chase Bank a 184 Main Street stating they had just been held up.  Police were informed that a middle aged white male indicated he had a weapon but did not show one and handed a note to a teller demanding money.  The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash and was last seen heading south on Main Street on foot.

Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 203-341-6000.
