Relationship Expert TC Brantley: How Couples Should Be Vacationing

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — No matter where you work, everyone needs a break to relax and a break. It’s hard to do for anyone, but hardest on parents. Relationship expert TC Brantley shares why it’s so important for parents to get away.

“You have to be full-time lovers, and never full-time parents,” said TC. The parents relationship is the foundation for their relationship with their child.

  • Bring your kids on your vacation, but get a separate bedroom for the parents.
  • Plan for yourself first. Planning alone time is just as important as finding a sitter for the baby.
