(WTNH)–A two-alarm fire forced families out of their homes on Monday night, as it ripped through an apartment complex in Hartford.

The fire began around 8:30 p.m. at a building on Laurel Street. It appeared to have started on the second floor, before spreading to the third and fourth.

The Fire Marshal was on the scene investigating on Monday night.

News 8 has confirmed that there were no injuries, though a number of people had to be taken out via bucket, for those that had accessibility issues. The fire was put out, and flames or smoke were no longer showing as of 10:30 p.m. Monday.
