Wallingford police looking for liquor store thief

WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – Wallingford police are looking for a suspect who robbed a liquor store Saturday morning.

According to police, on June 4th at approximately 9:10 a.m., officers responded to a reported robbery at Goodrich Package Store.

Officers say that a lone female clerk opened the store at approximately 9:00 a.m. and shortly after a male entered and browsed the aisles. A few minutes later, the man went to purchase a bottle of liquor and as the clerk opened the register, the man forcefully grabbed the registered and pulled it towards him. He then took money out of the drawer and ran out of the store. The clerk was not harmed and no weapons were displayed.

Police describe the suspect as a white male with a goatee and appears to have tattoos on both his arms. He left the area in an older black pickup truck northbound towards Route 150.
