NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH) — New London Police arrested a drug dealer said to have possibly been responsible for numerous heroin overdoses.
Kellon McPherson, 21, from New London, was arrested Wednesday on three counts of possession and three counts of selling illegal drugs.
McPherson had been wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for narcotics charges, and when police officers spotted him in a vehicle they began to pursue him, according New London Police.
Police said that they received information that numerous people have overdosed on Heroin that was sold be McPherson. The 21-year-old suspect was located hiding in a backyard between Willetts Ave. and Mahan St. where McPherson was arrested.
McPherson was also charged with interfering with police, breach of peace, criminal trespassing and criminal mischief. He is being held on bonds totaling $410,000, according to New London police.
