MIDDLEBURY, Conn. (WTNH) – This week, we’re featuring the “Best of Connecticut!” Today, we’re Cruisin’ Connecticut to Middlebury, to check out Quassy Amusement Park.
Lake Quassapaug was granted to a Connecticut man by King George. The lake has been home to horse stalls, trolley lines, and clam bakes in the early 1900’s.
Over the past 108 years, Quassy Amusement & water park has been BEST known for affordable family-fun!
Ron Gustafson, Director of Marketing at Quassy, says the new ride: “Reverse Time” is the first of its kind in North America.
Not only does it spin very quickly and rotates, but it gets up in the air and oscillates.
“Slide City” offers a family oriented water park experience, allowing parents to enjoy water slides, hand-in-hand with their little ones.
Now is your chance to chime in… what’s the best family amusement spot in Connecticut?
