Hartford police track down man accused of stabbing girlfriend in neck

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – A Harford man is facing a long list of charges after police say he stabbed his girlfriend in the neck while her there children watched.

Dequan White, 23, was found and arrested Thursday morning. Police say he had three outstanding domestic violence warrants all involving the same woman. 

Police say on June 8th, White stabbed the woman twice, including once in the neck while her three children were with them. The woman was rushed into emergency surgery.

White is charged with Attempted Murder, Assault in the First Degree, Reckless Endangerment, and Risk of Injury. He’s being held on $700,000 bond.
