Putnam, Conn. (WTNH) — State police have arrested a Danielson man following an alleged bomb threat at a Putnam medical facility.

Police arrested 54-year-old Floyd Lambert on Wednesday at the Generations Health Center.

Because of the threat the facility was evacuated.

Lambert allegedly had a backpack with him when he arrived there.

His neighbors tell police they thought he had something that looked like a bomb inside the bag.

After a search of the facility, no explosives were found.

Lambert was charged with breach of peace and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
