LEDYARD, Conn. (WTNH) — The woman who attacked an EMT on June 14th has been arrested Wednesday.
40-year-old Heather Kelly broke the rear window of a police car. While she was being taken to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, it was reported that she hit the EMT, who suffered injuries to the face.
Once the Kelly was contained at the hospital, she then ran from the emergency room but was found two blocks away. After returning back to the hospital, she was then processed and released on $5000 non-surety bond to appear at New London Superior Court on July 13.
The arrest for Kelly was approved on Wednesday and her charges included assault on an Emergency Medical Personnel and Breach of Peace.
