NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Since it’s the nation’s birthday, military and your families have some freebies coming your way.

Throughout the month of July, all U.S. military veterans and active duty service members receive free general admission to Mystic Aquarium.

Military can also get into Six Flags New England for free with valid ID from July 2nd through the 4th.

Military brides are also eligible to win a free wedding gown. Here’s the catch, it doesn’t look like CT salons are participating yet but they are in surrounding states and you can register online to win. More salons are expected to register.

To celebrate the July 4th weekend, Bank of America cardholders can get free access into a number of museums locally including the Fairfield Museum and History Center, Bruce Museum, Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, New Britain Museum of American Art, Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum and Mattatuck Museum.

And after Costco’s less than smooth transition to replace their credit cards, Sam’s Club is hoping to capitalize on the situation by offering any Costco member free admission to Sam’s Club this weekend through the 4th of July.

And after all the BBQ’s and cookouts this weekend, if you’re looking to get a good workout, Beyond Fitness in New Haven is offering a free Zumba class to anyone, you don’t have to be a member of the gym. That’s on Tuesday at 6:15 p.m.

And this is a possible deal that comes later – so save the date – if you’re an Amazon Prime Member: Prime DAY is coming up on July 12th when the company says they will offer new deals as often as every 5 minutes over the 24 hour period.
