In the Bender Kitchen: Rainbow Sea Bass



NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – This 4th of July, celebrate with your loved ones with a delicious Sea Bass Recipe. Veteran and Chef Roshara Sanders shares a Rainbow Sea Bass recipe to honor the troops and victims of the Orlando night club shooting.

Roshara is a twice-deployed military member who has also won Food Network’s CHOPPED in November 2015.

Chef Roshara’s recipe is dedicated to all the LGBT lives lost in Orlando this past month. All ingredients can be found at your local Big Y.

Summertime Sea Bass Recipe


  • 1Bu Rainbow Swiss Chard
  • 2 Florida Oranges
  • 2 Blood Oranges
  • 2 Fillet Sea Bass Grilled (one extra in case)
  • 1 Head of Radicchio
  • 1 green zucchini
  • 1/2c pineapple juice
  • 1/2c orange juice
  • 3Tbs chopped ginger
  • 2Tbs seasame oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayeene pepper
  • Chopped Chives
