PD: Two women arrested after being found with heroin

PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Two women are charged with Possession of Narcotics and Simple Trespass after police allegedly found them with heroin on a local bridge.

Plainfield Police tell News 8 they found Jamie Gervais, 25, and Kimberly Benjamin, 28, on the foot bridge in the area of Village Center Circle and River Street at 9:17 p.m. Thursday.

Both were in possession of numerous bags of heroin and were there after the park was already closed, according to police.

Police also determined that Gervais had an active and valid court issued arrest warrant. She was served with a warrant for Failure to Appear in the 2nd Degree.

Benjamin and Gervais were held on bond and were arraigned at the Danielson Superior Court Friday.
