NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — A Bridgeport woman is charged after stabbing her child’s father in Norwalk according to police.
Norwalk police said Jayde Williams, 21, had fled the scene after they arrived at 125 Suncrest Road where the victim was suffering from stab wounds.
The victim told police Williams took a knife and stabbed him after they had an argument.
Williams created a disturbance at another residence on Suncrest Road prior to the stabbing. Police said she threw an item that broke glass and struck a small child. The child was not injured.
Detectives eventually made contact with the suspect and she came to the Norwalk Police Department to surrender.
Williams is charged with assault to the 2nd degree, risk of injury to a minor, and breach of Peace to the 2nd degree. She is due in court on July 5 and the bond was set for $10,000.
The male victim was taken to the Norwalk hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
