Hamden man arrested after drug deal

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A Hamden man is arrested on Tuesday afternoon after drug investigation. Officers watched 36-year-old Ricardo Davis be apart of a drug deal on Jean Street.

Davis got away but police arrested him a short time later at 4:30 p.m. Police found 37 Clonazepam pills and a small quantity of marijuana.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and interfering with a police officer. Davis is being held on a $2,500 bond. He’s scheduled to appear in court on July 26th.
