PD: Bridgeport teacher arrested for sexually assaulting student in classroom

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH)–  A former Bridgeport substitute teacher was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a male student in a classroom back in March.

Police say 43-year-old Robert-Seaga Johnson, a long term substitute at Harding High School, was arrested at his home in Bridgeport Tuesday by the Bridgeport Police Department’s Fugitive Task Force.

Police say the arrest involves a sexual assault on a 17-year-old male student that occurred in a classroom at Harding High school back in March of this year.

Johnson, who is a native of Jamaica, was employed by Source4Teachers, a New Jersey-based company which contracts substitute teachers.

The incident remains under investigation.
