Narcan used to revive people in Plainfield home, twice in 7-hour span

PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Members of the Plainfield Police Department, Atwood Hose Fire Department and American Legion Ambulance responded to an address in the Wauregan section of Plainfield on Wednesday for the reported overdose of two individuals at approximately 8:59pm, according to police.

Officials said Narcan was used to revive both individuals. One was transported to Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam and the second to William Backus Hospital in Norwich.

At approximately 4:13 am on Thursday, police say a response was again requested to the same residence for another overdose. Investigation revealed that one of the two people who had overdosed earlier had again overdosed an hour after returning from the hospital. He was again revived using Narcan and transported to Day Kimball Hospital.

There have been a total of six overdoses all at the same residence within the past year involving illegal narcotics, police tell News 8.
