Norwalk PD investigating house party shooting

NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — Norwalk police are investigating after one person was shot overnight.

Police say they were called to 68 Winfield Street around 12:45 a.m. Saturday for a report of shots fired. When they arrived, they found a lot of people in the area for a house party. Police say they also found shell casings in front of the house.

Soon after, Norwalk Hospital reported a male had arrived from Winfield Street and was suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say his injuries are non-life threatening.
