In the Bender Kitchen: The Singing Chef Makes Double Stuffed Baked Potatoes



NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Neil Fuentes, the singing chef, is back in the Bender Kitchen with a stuffed potato recipe sure to please!

Stuffed Potato Recipe:

  • 4 Large Russet Potatoes. Baked
  • 1 stick of Butter
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Toppings: Get creative with them and have your guests make their own combinations.
    • Suggested Toppings:
      • Chives
      • green onion
      • chopped crispy bacon
      • Crab
      • Lobster
      • Pancetta
      • Mushrooms
      • Gruyere Cheese
      • Shredded Chicken
      • Ground beef
      • Ground Turkey
      • Shredded Short Ribs
      • Diced Sautéed ham



Cut the potatoes in half and take the flesh out into a bowl. Add the butter, cream, cheese, salt and pepper. Separate the mixture into 8 equal parts and put them in 8 different containers

Have the guests add whatever toppings they want for their personalized Double baked potatoes and have them stuffed one half each.

Bake again in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes
