HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Time is running out if you are one of the 18,000 people here in the state of Connecticut who no longer qualify for medicaid health coverage.
Access Health CT says the deadline is this Sunday, on July 31.
The change in providers is because legislation passed last year reduced the income limits for people enrolled in the state’s Husky health insurance program.
On July 30, Access Health CT is going to be holding in person enrollment fairs in Bridgeport, Hartford, New Haven and Willimantic.
“Our goal is that no one experiences a gap in coverage,” said AHCT CEO James Wadleigh. “We have helped thousands of people through our team effort … and we want to help as many more as possible before Sunday’s deadline.”
