Kids are hands-on at the Maritime Aquarium

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Social Media Manager for Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, Cara Kenefick talks with Teresa and Ryan about new summer exhibits at the aquarium!

Their new Interactive Digital Wall, which is also the Largest Public Digital Wall in CT, allows guests to interact with its “Sketch and Release”. You color in an animal of your choosing on a kiosk, name it, learn about the animal, and then “release” your artwork up onto the digital wall in animated 3D and watch it swim around underwater. You can also email your creation to yourself and keep it as a memento!

Cara also talks more about The Flutter Zone and that it is best to wear bright, floral colors for a better chance of interaction with the butterflies.

The Flutter Zone ends Labor Day Weekend so be sure to check it out before it closes!
