(WTNH) — E. Mishan and Sons Inc. (Emson) of New York is recalling the UComfy Neck and Shoulder Heat Wraps.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission the recall is in light of Emson receiving 16 reports of the heat wraps overheating, including three reports of burns.

Manufactured in China, the electric powered wrap is designed to provide heat to the user’s neck, shoulders and upper back.

The recalled wraps come in two colors, beige (item number 9700FE) and blue (item number 9699FE.) The item number appears on the product’s washing instructions label.

Emson recommends that consumers stop using the recalled heat wraps immediately and contact Emson to get a free replacement wrap.
