West Hartford Police Arrest Man on Drug Charges During Seatbelt Check

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)- A Bloomfield man was arrested after police say they found drugs in his car during a seatbelt check. Police arrested Isaiah Perry on July 26 around 5:50PM.

Police say they stopped Perry during a seatbelt check on Trout Brook Drive by Duffield Road, when the officer smelled marijuana. Police say they found 12 bags of marijuana and a bag of crystalized ecstasy in the car. Perry faces a number of drug charges and was released on a $15,000 bond. Perry is due in court on August 4.
