Michael Phelps will bear Team USA flag during opening ceremony

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (WCMH) – Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympic athlete of all time will bear the United States flag during the Olympic opening ceremony on Friday.

The announcement was made this morning on the Today show.

Phelps will join Matt Lauer for a live interview on Today at 8:30am.
