Art Bras Benefit Cancer Survivors


NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Art Bra is one-of-a-kind fashion featuring decadent handmade bras to raise money for organizations that benefit men and women who have been diagnosed with cancer.

After The Storm, Inc. is a non-profit foundation whose mission is to assist cancer survivors in the aftermath of their diagnosis and treatments by helping restore balance to their lives.  The foundation wil supports  the Integrative Medicine/Therapy programs at several local hospitals.  In past years this has included the Center for Survivorship and Integrative Medicine at the Middlesex Cancer Center, Midstate Medical Center, and Griffin Hospital.  The services offered at these hospitals may include, but are not limited to yoga, reiki, massage, reflexology and acupuncture.   To honor the foundation’s creator and inspiration, part of the profits will be dedicated to the unique needs of breast cancer survivors.  Since 2009, After the Storm, Inc. has been able to donate over $191,000 in support of its mission.
