HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A Hartford man has been sentenced on charges related to crack cocaine distribution.
Police say Todd Joiner, also known as “Whitez,” was sentenced to 39 months in prison followed by four years of supervised release.
The arrest stems from a joint investigation by FBI and the Hartford police into gang-related narcotics trafficking.
Joiner and others targeted during the investigation were affiliated with groups and gangs who have been involved in acts of violence.
Joiner has been identified as a member of Nelton Court Posse, one of several geographically-based gangs operating in the North End of Hartford.
