CROMWELL, Conn. (WTNH) – Today we’re Cruisin’ Connecticut to Cromwell, home of the Traveler’s Championship. Of course it’s the place to be to check out some of the biggest stars on the links, but if golf isn’t your thing… have no fear. There is so much for you to see!

We start our journey at “Traveler’s Chipping for Charity” where Traveler’s donates $100 for every hole-in-one to the “Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.” Nick Margolfo, a golfer from Special Olympics Connecticut, showed off some skills on the chipping green.

With various food vendors, concerts and rock climbing, the Fan Zone is a hit for families. Cromwell resident and Mom of four, Mindi Marchese says:

There’s so much for the kids to do, it keeps them busy all day long, they love the mini golf.
