Motorcycle accident claims Naugatuck man

Clinton, Conn. (WTNH)- A Naugatuck man was killed on Thursday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle in the northbound lane of Interstate 95 near exit 62.

State troopers say 56 year old Glen Papoun lost control of his motorcycle motorcycle. It veered into the breakdown lane and then struck a metal beam on the guard rail.

Papoun was thrown from the motorcycle as a result of the impact of the crash. State police say the cause of the accident is now under investigation.
