You will receive an American Express gift card or Stop and Shop gift card when you turn in the firearm.

If you turn in a rifle or a shotgun, you will receive a $50 gift card. Those who turn in a pistol or a handgun will receive a $100 gift card. If you turn in an assault weapon,  you will receive $200 gift card.

Police say the guns must be delivered unloaded in clear plastic bags, and any ammunition must be delivered in a separate bag.
