Car crashes into building in Milford


MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – Firefighters had to rescue a driver out of car after it crashed into a front wall in Milford Tuesday morning.

The Milford Fire Department were called in at 8:22 a.m., where they found a car half into a building at 250 Broad Street.

The driver was taken out of the car and taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for further evaluation.

One person was in the building at the time of the incident. The person was not hurt. The car was removed and the building was inspected by the City Building Department.
