Norwalk Police want your help identifying a suspect for robbing a bank on Friday

NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — Norwalk Department of Police Service Detectives are asking for help in identifying a suspect that robbed a bank Friday.

Police said the suspect entered Webster Bank located at 402 Connecticut Avenue at 10:05 a.m.and passed a note that indicated he had a weapon but did not show one.

The suspect then fled on foot to Stop and Shop after he obtained money where he entered a black sedan which police say is possibly a Ford with New York Plates and fled the area.

According to detectives the suspect is described as a black male, 50’s, medium build, approximately 5’6″ tall, walked with a cane in his right hand and has a large gap between his top front teeth.
