Police look for bank robbery suspect in Watertown

WATERTOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are looking for a suspect involved in a bank robbery on Straits Turnpike in Watertown.

Police say a man entered Webster Bank around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning pointing a handgun at a  customer  while ordering tellers to give him cash.

The suspect was wearing black pants, a black sweatshirt with a hoody, a dark baseball hat, white sneakers, and sunglasses.

The suspect got away in a SUV traveling westbound on Straits Turnpike towards Middlebury Road. Two red dye packs were thrown from the vehicle and exploded in the road.
